With each issue, authors and artists cast an unflinching look at a timely theme. The combination of ideas and insights brings you the best photography, artwork and writing, including classic fiction, new essays and short stories, many of which are published in English for the first time.

The Drawbridge originated as a full-colour newspaper. It is now available as a quarterly app for iPad, Kindle Fire, Android tablets and smartphones. It is published by FiveByOne, a not-for-profit company set up by the creative team behind the original print edition.
